The high definition war between Blu-ray and HD-DVD wages on. Walmart offered the Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD for $99 this weekend while the cheapest Blu-ray HD-DVD players is still selling for ~$400. (Note the Toshiba HD-A2 player does not do 1080p - only 720p or 1080i.)
JupiterRsearch says neither format will win.

I picked up two of these babies. Upscaling of normal DVD's is good also.
I was really tempted but didn't pull the trigger. And I read that some Walmarts were substituting the newer A3 model when they ran out of A2s. Whatta deal!
